(In Low and Mid Season, short breaks can be booked at any time. In Special Breaks periods and High Season – short breaks can be booked no sooner than 1 week before arrival date.)

The Cottage is a Visit England four star property, tucked away in a quiet road in the highly sought after old part of the town of Padstow. Located just 350m from the harbour, The Cottage is well appointed with internet access and provides comfortable accommodation for a family of 6 plus a baby, or a cosy retreat for a couple.
Due to the convenient location of this property, there are many superb restaurants within a few minutes walking distance to suit all tastes including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant and it is only a short walk to the sandy beaches of St George's Cove and Tregirls. The championship links golf course of Trevose is within a couple of miles drive, with three courses offering a challenge to golfers of all abilities. Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement and the property also offers parking for a small car.

Downstairs to a well equipped Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Dining area with table and seating for 8 people. Utility area with dishwasher and washer dryer. Double doors to lower patio area and south facing rear garden and washing line facilities. Cloak room with WC and wash hand basin and freezer.
Bedroom 1: Double with built-in wardrobe and bedside tables. Bedroom 2: Twin with pine wardrobe and bedside table. Bathroom with bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 3 King-size double with chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and wardrobe. En-suite shower room with wash hand basin and WC.
Parking for 1 small car to front of property: space is 14'6" long, please allow room to manoeuvre when calculating if your car will fit.
Linen, towels, pillows and duvets are supplied, please bring your own beach towels. Central Heating, Gas and Electricity included in rental.
The changeover day is Friday, but there is flexibility out of season for week end and special breaks.
Pets are accepted at £25 per pet per week but by prior arrangement only.
Please note: The Cottage has non standard arrival and departure times: Arrival time: 5.30 pm or later. Departure time: by 12.30 pm. (Entry via Key Safe)
The parking area to the front of the property is a mixture of cobbled stones and large slate tiles. There is one small step up into the property. The two reception rooms on the ground floor are separated by a small landing area with doors on both sides, there is a deep step down on both sides to this landing area. There is then an additional 8 steps down to the kitchen with a 90 degree anticlockwise turn for the last step into the kitchen, this stairway has a lower than standard ceiling height. The access to the garden is through french doors, the width of each door is 56cm, and there is one step down to a small paved area, 3 steps up to the next level of the garden and a further 3 uneven steps take you upto a further terrace. The Upper Patio can also be reached from the outside via 9 stone steps.
To the left at the end of the of the entrance hall, there are 10 steps upto the landing on the first floor. One further step to the right takes you to the family bathroom and back bedroom and also one step to the left takes you to the front twin room. There is also a narrow walkway measuring 48cm wide which lead to the stairs to the top floor. There are 6 steps then a 180 degree turn before a further 5 steps, this stairway also has a low ceiling. The door way into the master bedroom is non-standard measuring just 64 cm wide.
