This three bedroom property blends an eclectic mix of styles to bring you a fun holiday home in a fantastic child and dog friendly location. Situated on the Greenaway with stunning views out to Stepper Point and the Camel Estuary the location couldn’t be better for walks on the adjoining coastal path to Greenaway beach, Daymer Bay and Polzeath.
Please note: There is a property being built across the lane, in front to the right of Lucerne, which will be nearing completion next year.
Please note: Entry to the property is from 5pm and departure is at 9am prompt.
This spacious bungalow has versatile accommodation and sleeps 6 in three bedrooms with the option of sleeping 4 more on sofa beds. There is a sun room with sliding glass doors to the front patio with a double sofa bed and an additional sofa bed in the lounge.
There is a utility room housing a washer/dryer and a large striped SMEG fridge with ice box leading to a shower room with wc. The kitchen itself has an under counter fridge with ice box, cooker, separate grill, hob, microwave and dishwasher. There is a rotary washing line in the back garden so the house is well equipped for the whole family.
More of the family’s fun styling can be found in the lounge with bright colours and fun decor giving the room a cheerful feel with a superb view out to sea. Sliding glass doors lead to the conservatory dining room with a large table and seating enough for 12 people. This room, again, doesn’t disappoint with its colourful styling and plenty of board games to play, if you find yourselves indoors on a rainy day.
Up the hallway is the family bathroom with separate shower and bath and a wc next door. There are three bedrooms with built in wardrobes and all three have dressers with sinks. The two bedrooms at the front are lovely bright rooms with large picture windows looking out to sea and the sunny back bedroom has a lovely view of the garden.
The bungalow is surrounded by a large garden with flowering shrubs, trees and banks of hydrangeas bordering expansive lawns to the front and rear. There is a large patio at the front overlooking the sea with table and chairs for outdoor dining. Also there is extra seating for relaxing and enjoying the view or a ping pong table for the more energetic.
A small glass fronted summerhouse with light and power is tucked into the corner of the front lawn. This is a great space to sit and enjoy the view and watch the world go by.
The bungalow is in a lovely quiet location accessed by a private road but within walking distance of a shop, cafe and pub. There is a private driveway with plenty of parking and extra cars can be accommodated on the grass verge at the front.
Its superb location with easy access to great beaches, restaurants and the St Moritz hotel with its facilities means that this property will be snapped up.
Take a moment to view guest comments to see how previous guests have rated their stay at Lucerne.
The road beyond the St Moritz hotel is private and can be uneven with pot holes.
While the property is a bungalow there is one step up to either the front patio door or the narrower rear door. Once inside the property is all on one level with just a half step from the utility into the kitchen. (There are quite high shower trays which need to be stepped up into.)
The large front and rear gardens are reasonably level with three steps going up from the rear of the bungalow to the back garden. There is a three foot drop off from the edge of both gardens so very young children need to be supervised outside.
