About the property

Towan Farmhouse is situated in the desirable hamlet of Towan just over 1 mile from Constantine Bay.   Other bays in the area include Treyarnon, Booby's, Trevone and Harlyn, all within a few minutes drive. The working harbour and town of Padstow is just over 3 miles away offering  many superb restaurants to suit all tastes including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. The championship links golf course of Trevose is within ½ of a mile,  with three courses offering a challenge to golfers of all abilities.

St Merryn village is approximately a ½ mile from Towan Farmhouse where there is a petrol station,  grocery store, fish and chip shop and post office.  There are also 2 good public houses and restaurants.  The Cornish Arms at St Merryn has recently become part of Rick Stein's establishments in the area, even though still within the fold of St Austell Brewery.  Julian Lloyd, who has worked for Rick Stein for over 10 years, has produced a simple British pub menu which is going down well with the locals and visitors alike!

Large open plan dining room and kitchen providing a very pleasant family living space. There is a back door leading out to the garden with a patio and grassed area,  garden furniture and a BBQ. 

The kitchen features a character beamed ceiling and traditional farm house style fitted units and a good range of appliances including microwave, double oven, ceramic hob fridge, freezer and dishwasher.   The Dining area comfortably seats 10.

Large lounge with working open fire, 3 comfortable sofas, chairs, flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player. 

Separate utility area with 2nd sink , washing machine and tumble dryer.

Playroom with flatscreen TV with Freeview and PS2 console.  Sofa can be converted into double bed.
