Nathan Outlaw is a talented chef based in Cornwall. He has two restaurants at the St Enodoc Hotel in Rock that offer both simple and contemporary dishes. Restaurant Nathan Outlaw has recently been awarded 2 Michelin Stars in the Great Britain and Ireland Michelin Guide 2011, and named the Best Fish Restaurant by the Good Food Guide 2011. Bodmin Jail an all weather, family attraction, that includes a licensed bar and restaurant, covered courtyard, with a Civil and Naval Prison housing a museum within its walls split over three levels. It was the last County Jail in Cornwall, eventually closing in 1927. The Jail now sits at the start of the famous Camel Trail and is the perfect alternative day out.

One of our local rugby teams - Wadebridge Camels were formed in 1955 and played their home games at Bodieve on the outskirts of Wadebridge next to the town's football pitch. In the 80's the club moved to a new ground at Egloshayle called the Molesworth Field. This was on land originally reclaimed from the marshes of the River Camel which runs alongside the ground and from which the team get their name.
