The Old Post Office is a unique, character cottage which has been recently refurbished to a very high standard with a vaulted ceiling in the main living area, a mezzanine sleeping area with lovely views towards the coast and an annexe across a terraced patio area. Located in the popular village of Trevone: the property is just 500m from the beach.
Trevone has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and benefits from farm shop, beach cafe and surf shop and public house. Padstow is only 2 miles away, and the championship links golf course of Trevose is within 3 miles.

Steps lead up to the front door and into the Hallway/utility area – washing machine, separate tumble dryer, wardrobe, bench, shoe rack, coat hanging space, hairdryer.
Modern Bathroom – bath, with shower over, wc, basin, heated mirror and towel rail.

Stairs to mezzanine area – dormer window with distant sea view – ceiling is kneeling height but accommodates a luxury king sized futon (sleeps 2), separate TV with integrated DVD.
Trifold doors, which fold right back across the end of the living space, bring the outside in. The enclosed outdoor decked/paved patio benefits from outside furniture and BBQ making it an ideal place to enjoy the setting sun on those long summer evenings. There is also a side gate(lockable) with access to the side path and road, so that you can come in off the beach to shower at the outdoor, slate tiled, hot and cold shower!
The Annexe is separate to the main house and is accessed via the patio with a stable door, high ceiling, feature “bottle” wall. Twin beds (sleeps 2) Ensuite wetroom – shower, basin, wc, heated towel rail, hairdryer, wifi and TV with integrated DVD . Separate heating and hot water system so no sharing issues!
There is underfloor heating throughout the main house and annexe.
On street parking (not reserved), outside bin store and lockable store for BBQ.
Electricity & Gas included in rental - Bedding: Bed linen supplied - Please bring your own towels.
Changeover Day - Saturday
Entrance to The Old Post Office is via the Right Hand steps, there are three steps a 90 degree left hand turn and then a further 5 steps to the front door. There is one step up and raised threshold to the front stable door which is 32inches/81.3cm wide. This opens into the Hallway/Utility Area, and from here, to the right is the bathroom with a doorway measuring 26.4inches/67cm and straight ahead are two steps up to the main living area. The mezzanine sleeping area is accessed via a solid wooden ships ladder with 9 treads measuring 19inches/48.3 cm wide, there is a small landing area and a right turn and one further step up into the restricted height mezzanine level, which has a maximum head height of 51inches/130cm.
In the main living area there is a slight change in level between the flooring in the kitchen area and the carpet. The trifold doors have a raised threshold to the terraced patio area. The terrace, which is part decked and part slabbed, is over three levels with two steps between each level, care should be taken as there are no railings etc between each level.
There is a raised threshold to the annexe door measuring 31inches/79cm and the door to the en-suite is 29 inches/74cm.
There is access to the left-hand side of the property with 5 steps up from the level of the front door. There is a raised man-hole cover at the entrance to this side return and 4 steps up to the side gate that opens onto the terraced patio area of the Old Post Office.
