Padstow Self Catering Accommodation
No 8 Mill Road is a nicely presented 3 bedroom character Padstow Cottage, ideal for romantic getaways or family breaks, located in the old part of Padstow. There is no outside space with this cottage, but due to the convenient location close to the harbour area, there are many superb restaurants close by to suit all tastes including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant.
The championship links golf course of Trevose is within a couple of miles drive, and the coastline surrounding Padstow has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and many of Cornwall's finest bays are within a five mile radius.Please refer to our Parking Suggestions regarding this property

Stairs to Lower Ground Floor/Basement: Bedroom 3: Twin with fitted wardrobe. This room has non standard mattresses with beds that fit the contours of the room and is therefore suitable for children. Shower Room with WC, Wash hand basin and Shower cubicle. Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer and Iron etc. There is also a small cellar with very limited height restrictions, and an extra fridge and freezer can be utilised here if arranged in advance.
From lounge Stairs up to: Bedroom 2 - Twin Beds with fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 1 - Double King size with fitted wardrobes and views over the old part of Padstow and beyond. Family Bathroom: Bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.

There is one step up to the front door of 8 Mill Road and the doorway has a raised threshold. Entrance is into the kitchen which has a slate tiled floor which is slightly uneven in places. There is a small step down into the carpeted area of the living room. Both floors are accessible from this area.
A staircase leads down to the Lower Ground Floor which has a reduced width of 28 inches /71cm wide at both the top and bottom; the head height is limited to 69 inches/175cm in places. There are eleven treads with the last tread turning 90 degrees to the left.
On the Lower Ground Floor, the shower room is accessed via two deep steps; the bathroom door width is a non-standard size measuring 26.75 inches /68 cm.
The doorway to the bedroom on this floor, is also non-standard measuring 29 inches/74.5 cm
There are 13 stairs to the First floor, this mid winder staircase turns 90 degrees to the right after 3 treads, with three treads around the bend and then a further 7 treads. The head height is limited to 63inches/160cm in places.
The two bedrooms and bathroom can be accessed from the first floor landing, the bathroom doorway measures just 26.5inches /67cm.
